On The Twenty-Fourth Day Of Advent We Celebrated Christmas Eve with Scott's Family

Even though Meadow had already had breakfast she wanted in on our French toast for second breakfast. What a little hobbit.

She is a short stack after all.

I didn't even bring any of Meadow's toys along because I knew she wouldn't play with them.

Most of the day we prepped Christmas Eve dinner. First task was whipping together some rolls.

The girls got dressed up for Christmas.

Even baby Cameron was festive.

Newborns always scared me. I thought that would have changed after having Meadow, but seeing one again, nope.

I felt so certain holding Meadow, but I have to agree with Brooke. Now I know why my dad seemed hesitant to hold Meadow when she was a month old.

Grandma Tuska had a blast snapping pics of her grandbabies.

Simone found a new seat.

I love this little gal.

Ham, roasted brussels, homemade rolls and sweet potatoes. Oh and spinach and roasted beet salad.

Meadow's eating habits go in strange patterns. Last week she was on a hunger strike and this week she is eating everything. Well except for the sweet potatoes. She wouldn't eat those until her cousin started stealing them off her plate, then she realized they must be okay.

Simone pretty much only ate the sweet potatoes.

Cameron stuck to napping. No solids for a while.

After dinner the kids opened their gifts. We got Simone a pounding bench and Cameron a new book.

Meadow got some new clothes.

All the grandbabies got blankets and PJs from grandma and grandpa.

Meadow was all like, "Let me show you how this is done", while nearly missing Simone's fingers.

I can't wait until Cameron is running around.

We all had spiked egg nog after Simone went to bed. Well not mom. My dad went straight to bed after drinking his. The booze must've gotten to him.

Meadow's new word is "Ew". After Cameron spit up Meadow kept saying ew to him.

RV Spring Break: Savannah to Miami

Oh, hey, we made it to Savannah. Time for a nice stroll (well, as leisurely as Brooke will allow).   I was pretty excited to be going to Savannah, even if we could only stay for a few hours. The tricky thing with having an RV is finding a place to park. The Fahm Avenue parking lot had RV spots and then we walked over to the historic district. Meadow should go to the Savannah College of Art and Design. You know, if she can get a scholarship. Savannah is just as cool in person as you think. I should have done at least one house tour. I had to embarrass Meadow with taking her photo in front of the first Girl Scout Headquarters.  Brooke got me to go into the beautiful Catholic church right in the historic district. I don't think I've ever been in a Cathedral Basilica. Usually it's one or the other. It seems like every few blocks there was a perfect square. We should build all cities like this. For lunch we went to Savannah Smokehouse . We ended up getting the sampler for 2, whi...

Work Trip: Brooke Didn't Want to go to Fairmont, Minnesota and We go to the Science Museum

It seems like Brooke was always ready to tag along for my hotel shoot work trips. Apparently Fairmont wasn't on her list of place she'd be willing to tag along to. There wasn't much around the area that I really wanted to do. After work I wasn't super hungry, so I went and got a beer at Fairmont Brewing Company . It's pretty rad that there's a microbrewery in almost every decently sized city these days. I walked by this unnamed food truck after a brewski. Also nice that there's decent Mexican food in every nook and cranny in these here United States. Incredible that conservatives some how think this is a bad thing. Since I've been going on photo walks at all of my out of state shoots, might as well keep that up in Martin County. This dive bar beckoned me, "You want another beer, Scott!" Incredible that a county of just under 20,000 people once built a county courthouse this grand. It looked the dive bar I'd walked past was closed, but when...
