Thanksgiving in the Valley

Thursday This year Brittany hosted Thanksgiving at her new house. We debated between going to Grand Rapids, Michigan (where my sister and mom live) and going to Little Chute (most of Brooke's family). With Grand Rapids being a 9 hour drive (no stopping), we opted for the 4 hour drive to her family. While getting ready for Thanksgiving I found these 30 plus year old German wines sitting in the garage. I guess they'd been sitting in Grandma Lungwitz's basement since then. We uncorked one of them for the night. I was all for it until my dad opened one and when I mentioned where it came from he made a face and exclaimed he would not drink it. Theo @ 9 Months

At 9 months Theo weighs 17 pounds and is 28" tall. He eats three times a day and prefers to feed himself. So far he likes everything he has tried. Babies are so much easier to please than 5-year-olds. He currently loves Meadow, finding things to eat on the floor, crawling around discovering new things, snuggling with a blanket, jumping in his jumper bumper. You always have to watch him as he explores. He likes to grab anything and everything. He says da-da and ma-ma. And pa-pa. He must really like his dad. He still doesn't have any teeth. And he won't let us check. He refuses to open it when you want to see. Of course the rest of the time he's smiling. He has mastered his pincer grab. He's starting to crawl more on his knees and pull himself up. Meadow was at about the same point, but she didn't actually walk until much later. He still goes to bed around 8 and wakes up around 7:30. And still wakes up 1-4 times at
