My dads side of the family used to get together on Christmas Eve. Since Covid they stopped doing that. Mostly because our family is so large, no one was able to host anymore. When we got an invite to one of my cousins weddings, I figured we should go since I hadn't seen my aunts and uncles in a long time.  Our drive to Wisconsin wasn't great. This is why I don't like traveling in winter.  I told Theo he's going to have to sleep on the bed in the office this time. But silly bub said he could still sleep in the crib.  No kids at the wedding so these two would get to hang out all day.  After the wedding ceremony a few of us met up at The Vault in downtown Appleton.

This seems to be the summer of camping.

We had decided to not get each other anything, but I couldn't help myself. Although Scott said he wanted to surprise me by making a cake. I had been wanting to get him a crepe pan and our Anniversary seemed like a good excuse. The whole cake thing fell through when I had a wedding to shoot on Saturday.

Out of the shadows of Duluth Blake showed up for a venture back to the Valley of the Fox. Apparently his car broke and my dad picked it up from him to fix it. Blake needed a ride to the wedding so he took a bus down to Minneapolis and rode with us. Before heading home we decided to check out the North Loop Salvation Army. If you haven't been there, the combo of old school Salvation Army and a massive as-is store make this the best thrift store in the Twin Cities. Because of that you have to come early and often. Because of this store we really have no reason to go to Target where most of the stuff comes from They even had a white-electric version of our stove. Whenever Blake and Brooke are together they play Draw Something. Brooke's addiction is becoming akin to my ravenous appetite for news reading.
