Forgetful Parents on a November Grocery Run

We planned on doing a bunch of errands today. So for breakfast we ate some caramel pumpkin kringle from Racine, Wisconsin's O&H Bakery. I totally forgot Trader Joe's had their kringle. I guess that place is good for something after all. The Minneapolis Farmers Market runs until the weekend before Thanksgiving. I thought we would check it out and stock up one last time. Turns out nobody is selling produce anymore. With the early snow and cold temps the season is over. I did manage to get some cider. Meadow has been a good helper lately. Brooke did a nice job livening up the stairway with more succulents after some herbs died. This kid was so cute in his one-piece snowsuit. He was probably disappointed he didn't get to show it off at the Minneapolis Farmers Market. I got sick of having to feed Theo while I'm trying to eat.  I dehydrated his baby food and cut them into strips so he can feed himself. This is so much easier and he ...

On The Thirteenth Day Of Advent We Decorated Another Tree

While in Wisconsin we helped my parents decorate their tree.  When I say we helped, I mean Meadow, Jaspurr and I watched.  Of course I just photographed everything. And why not throw in some adorable photos of Meadow sitting in a high chair.  Out baby's growing up.

Meadow @ 4 Months

Meadow weighs approximately 14 pounds and is 24" in length. I feel like she's really grown up this past month and clearly isn't a newborn anymore. She currently loves when we pretend to eat her toes, eating... Scott, seeing the world... grabbing things (especially mama's hair), baths, her hands, watching kids and rolling over. She has learned to roll over from her back to her front. Even though she could do it as a newborn she still gets stuck and frustrated once she's on her stomach. I have a feeling she's going to be an early crawler.  She's just started sleeping in her own room. I miss her, but she makes up for it by waking up every 1.5-3 hours. For awhile she was only getting up once or not at all.  She's been doing really great at falling asleep on her own. It helps that she rubs her eyes when she's tired so then I know and can put her down. She's still a night owl and refuses to go to bed b...

Meadow Turns One Month Old

I've heard a lot of moms say they can't believe how fast time goes by with their children. I also heard that from strangers while I was pregnant. The first few weeks with her were slow, but now time is going fast. I always say I can't wait until she's older because the newborn stage is boring since all they do is eat and sleep. Now I almost want to take that back knowing that she will never be this small again or sleep this often. (Yes her onesie says "Little Hunk". When we bought a set of onesies we thought it was plain brown. ) So far she loves to eat. When she's hungry or thinks she's hungry she will eat whatever is near her mouth. The floor, buttons on Scotts shirt or my arm. I purposely didn't get any pacifiers so I'm not tempted to give her one. I've seen with other children how addicting they are. Even though I get frustrated sometimes when she wants to nurse for 2 hours or uses me to fall asleep I'd rather her do that th...
