As I mentioned in the last post, I had a job down in Florida at the tail end of the week. Daytona Beach to be precise.
I proposed the whole family tag along, but they did not like the idea of Florida in the Summer. Anyways, after my shoot I checked Ormond Beach just to the north of Daytona.
Theo is allergic to the sun and I knew he would hate going.
I headed this way to try Hull's Seafood. I was surprised to see the place packed in the dead of summer.
Rock shrimp, clam chowder and hush puppies. Pretty, pretty good.
Please "sea" hostess.
I love the Florida's deco architecture. Fits the vibe perfectly.
While taking in the insane sunset, I made my way back over to Daytona Beach proper.
Did you know that you can drive on the beach just like they did in the original Daytona 500 days?
Daytona is kind of trashy, but I still enjoyed a walk around the city.
There are some rad relics along the beach.
Before heading back home I made a stop at Waffle House. Why didn't we take the kids here when we were in the South back in the spring? Next time.
