How Come Everytime You Come Around...

I wish I could've updated while I was there so I could remember everything I did. Thinking about it makes me sad that I'm not there. I want to live there when I grow up.

We did a lot of sightseeing and walking around. I didn't realize there was going to be so much to do, I could've easily stayed another week..or month. I waited so long to go and see Scott again and now I have to do it all over again. I wish I was a stronger person, I cried on the plane. I was watching The Holiday so I hope people don't think I'm a sap for crappy love movies. I guess I'm still overwelmed by the whole experience that I don't know what to say about it. I list everything that I can remember right now.

Trafalgar Square
Kings Cross
The first Beigel Shop
Greenwich
Tate modern
The Shins
Bath

ok I lied there is a lot more but I don't feel like listing them all.

I look forward to summer. I currently live in two houses by the way. I'm excited to live in our new house. Hardwood floors, tall ceilings, two stories, and a bath tub with feet. The kind of house I've always wanted to live in. Sadly I won't be close enough to the beach anymore, that's ok I'll still go.

Beaver Creek State Park Hiking Club (with a Layover at Frontenac State Park)

After we dropped Meadow off at school on Friday morning I made some last second plans to camp in southern Minnesota this weekend. Once we picked up Meadow we headed towards Red Wing. Red Wing Brewing has some really great pizza. The crust is something special. So we stopped there for dinner. Getting back to pre-COVID life is a bit strange, but we're getting used to it.

Grand Rounds National Scenic Byway

Yesterday Scott and I biked this. That's a wopping 41 miles around the city. It has been my goal all summer to do the whole thing and I did it. I got to see parts of the city I had never seen before. I'm glad Scott likes biking as much as I do. I've been working more, but I still seem to be short on money. I need to win the lottery or get a third job. It feels weird not going to school this fall. For the first time since I was 3 I won't have homework. I'm kind of disappointed in a way. I wish I could go to school, taking a semester off was a bad idea. I'm going to be in school til I'm 30.

7 Days Down, 158 Days To Go

Umm, well I ended up having a longer Christmas break than I had originally thought. It went really well until the last few days. I had dreaded this day since we met, I always knew it was going to come, but yet I ignored that it would ever happen. Saying goodbye to Scott was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. I've had to do that so many times last year and I still have to do it. If I can get through January and February and I think I will be ok, or so I keep telling myself. I took out a second loan and it got denied, so I'm still as poor as ever until I can figure out what I'm going to do. I'm so glad school starts next week, being alone all day is very hard. I left Scott Thursday night and headed back to Little Chute, which I was glad I did. We're having some family issues concerning my dad's business and the death of his friend. It tears me up to see him like this. I wish I could've stayed home longer. I pretty much did, I left home early Su
