I Love Vistors

I've had a pretty eventful week with vistors and traveling. It started with my parents and little brother driving out west (to my dad I live far away) to come visit me. It was my mom and brothers first time being in the cities and they seemed to like it. I basically dragged them along to do all the things I've always wanted to do.











I then went down to Milwaukee for my last time this summer and probably for awhile. As I say this I know I'll probably be back in 2 weeks because that seems to be the pattern this summer. Scott is moving back up here next week so maybe I won't. I've been to Milwaukee more times than I have been home. I enjoyed that city and all its frozen custard, hopefully I'll make it back down there soon. But finally after 6 months we won't have to drive 2-5 hours just to see each other for only a few days. Now I'll be able to see him whenever I want.



I then drove back up to Little Chute for the day. It wasn't as exciting as it usually is, mostly because I had a bunch of things I needed to get done so I didn't get to see very many people. Especially my childhood friend Keely who I haven't seen in a year. Maybe next time, which I'm not sure when that will be either. I did get to have sno-biz which I had been wanting to do all summer so I was happy for that.

Cevonne came back up to Minnesota with me, having her here is always a blast. Even though we do the same things we did at home. I'm sure we'll do something spontaneous.

RV Spring Break: Savannah to Miami

Oh, hey, we made it to Savannah. Time for a nice stroll (well, as leisurely as Brooke will allow).   I was pretty excited to be going to Savannah, even if we could only stay for a few hours. The tricky thing with having an RV is finding a place to park. The Fahm Avenue parking lot had RV spots and then we walked over to the historic district. Meadow should go to the Savannah College of Art and Design. You know, if she can get a scholarship. Savannah is just as cool in person as you think. I should have done at least one house tour. I had to embarrass Meadow with taking her photo in front of the first Girl Scout Headquarters.  Brooke got me to go into the beautiful Catholic church right in the historic district. I don't think I've ever been in a Cathedral Basilica. Usually it's one or the other. It seems like every few blocks there was a perfect square. We should build all cities like this. Backcountry Camping with Kids in Theodore Roosevelt National Park

Day 1  Back in May I stumbled upon Theodore Roosevelt National Park. I had no idea there was a National Park in North Dakota and that it was the northern end of the Badlands. Usually our summer vacations coincide with Scott's work trips. Since he didn't have any this summer I thought we should take advantage of actually taking a vacation. What, my workcations are always classics? I suppose a second real vacation this year wouldn't hurt. We definitely have more time than normal. As long as we took Covid-19  precautions and avoided people. We finally settled on a time to go. Blake joined us so we borrowed our dad's van so we could ride together.
