Theo @ 10 Months

Theo loves playing peek-a-boo, pulling himself up, eating anything he can find on the floor, sharing his food, playing with Peanuts water bowl and eating food you give him.

Everyday is a game of catch Theo eating something gross.

He still has no teeth, but he talks a lot. He says da-da, ma-ma, ba-ba, na-na, pa-pa.

Did you notice he says both da-da and pa-pa. Good kid.

He still wakes up 1-2 times at night and occasionally sleeps through the night.

Sorry, Brooke. He just wants the mama milk.

He squeaks or gasps when he's excited.

It's the cutest thing.

He still has loved everything we've fed him. We even had him try hot sauce and he didn't' even mind.

If only Meadow would be such a care-free eater.

He's doing a little better on car rides, but still gets upset and wants to be held. It helps that it is dark out so he mostly sleeps.

There are advantages to living in the darkness.

He understands sign language and loves to do the sign for milk.

Yardwork, Ikea and Pumpkins

My new parents-in-law got us a dehydrator for the wedding. Knowing we were going to be cleaning up the garden and going to farmer's market, we took a gander at our millionth kitchen device during breakfast.   Scott added granola to his oatmeal.  The oatmeal was rather bland, just the way Brooke likes it.   Scott was actually cleaning up so I had to take a quick photo of him as proof.  Scott told me he was, "putting a blanket down for Peanut," while singing. During the winter months peanut needs a warm place to peer through the window. Seeing as it was nearly November, I setup his blanket for him. Seeing as the farmers market season is dwindling down, we headed to the market...once again. The close proximity to the cities central farmer's market has to be one of the best assets of living in NoMi. We were both amazed by the bounty of produce still on sale. We quickly filled up our first bag and took it back to the car....

Honeymoon: Madeline Island Without a Kayak? At Least We Brought Bikes.

We made it safely to Bayfield without getting attacked by any bears . I think that's because of my wily driving skills.

Over the River & Through the Woods to Grandmothers House We Clean

My mom had wanted us to come down to my grandparents home to clean for months. Unfortunately a busy summer had kept us away. We finally made it a week after our honeymoon ended. We slept at my parents home in Cudahy before heading down to Racine. We got home from our trip on Tuesday and left for Milwaukee on Thursday. It was almost like an extended vacation. Before leaving the cities we stopped and had dinner at Foxy Falafel. It was pretty good and I like that she uses sprouted chickpeas.  I never knew my grandparents on Poppyseed Tuska's side so Grandma and Grandpa Wojcik were a special part of my life. They both passed away last year after living nearly 90 wonderful years.  Their home was always a wonderfully warm and inviting place. The perfect place to spend your Christmas Eve in front of a fire place. Since it's going to be sold, Brooke and I took on the massive task of organizing and cleaning the home. When Scott told me h...
