Meadow @ 4 Months

Meadow weighs approximately 14 pounds and is 24" in length.

I feel like she's really grown up this past month and clearly isn't a newborn anymore.

She currently loves when we pretend to eat her toes, eating...

Scott, seeing the world...

grabbing things (especially mama's hair), baths, her hands, watching kids and rolling over.

She has learned to roll over from her back to her front. Even though she could do it as a newborn she still gets stuck and frustrated once she's on her stomach.

I have a feeling she's going to be an early crawler.

She's just started sleeping in her own room. I miss her, but she makes up for it by waking up every 1.5-3 hours. For awhile she was only getting up once or not at all.

She's been doing really great at falling asleep on her own. It helps that she rubs her eyes when she's tired so then I know and can put her down.

She's still a night owl and refuses to go to bed before 10.

She can fully support her head.

Meadow has a big bald spot on the back of her head.

She's started giggling.

Strangely she's her happiest during diaper changes.

T-minus 2 Months to Wedding

The second week proved to be more of a challenge for our local month. We are starting to crack down on wedding plans. We both bought our wedding attire from the Mall of America. I did feel a little guilty about that. I had originally wanted to buy my dress from a vintage store. I have been looking since we got engaged (even before that) and everything I found wasn't in my size or a style I liked.  Then we bought some candles at Target while doing our registry. Scott bought lunch at Jimmy John's.  All our groceries have been local. At least we're still good about that. Scott was in southern Minnesota yesterday shooting a wedding. I didn't think he was going to come back that night and scared me when he got home.     My sister's wedding is coming up in 2 weeks and I get the honor of making the cake. I tested out different cake recipes.  While Scott made pancakes.   We started out eating by each other.  Then Scott move

Honeymoon But With Kids: Bayfield, Porcupine Mountains for a Night and Unexpected Motel

Once back on the mainland Meadow got to pick up her Junior Ranger badge.   This one was made of wood! Before heading to our next destination we went in search of lunch in Bayfield. We got a simple lunch from a tiny little bakery, the Starlit Kitchen . Meadow says this was the best sandwich she ever had.  The bread was very good.
