Buy Me I'm Executive

Like I was in 5th grade again, I got up early before school waiting by the t.v. to see if my school was cancelled. They were only on the s's, 10 minutes later the a's finally came and my school was listed. But unlike actually being in 5th grade where I would go out and play in the snow I was completly lazy. Having two snow day's in a row was nice though. I played guitar hero and knitted, flowers that is.

Here are some things I made in school. Marzipan and sugar. The first sugar sculpture was made by my entire class.

My dad called me the other the day to tell me that Anna Nicole's baby is his and we are going to inherite a lot of money soon.

Backcountry Camping with Kids in Theodore Roosevelt National Park

Day 1  Back in May I stumbled upon Theodore Roosevelt National Park. I had no idea there was a National Park in North Dakota and that it was the northern end of the Badlands. Usually our summer vacations coincide with Scott's work trips. Since he didn't have any this summer I thought we should take advantage of actually taking a vacation. What, my workcations are always classics? I suppose a second real vacation this year wouldn't hurt. We definitely have more time than normal. As long as we took Covid-19  precautions and avoided people. We finally settled on a time to go. Blake joined us so we borrowed our dad's van so we could ride together. Scott had just driven from Michigan the day before. Blake had met my parents in Wisconsin to get the van and then drove from Duluth to pick us up. I offered to drive since I literally only drive twice a month.  I was still pretty tired from a long drive home. Since we were near Fergus Falls we had to stop by the abandoned state ho

Honeymoon: Madeline Island Without a Kayak? At Least We Brought Bikes.

We made it safely to Bayfield without getting attacked by any bears . I think that's because of my wily driving skills.

Two Years As Homeowners

I have to admit, being a homeowner is hard. There are a million things I want to do with this house. The two things that are keeping me from doing those things are money and time. I hate when people use the excuse "I don't have time" because really you do, you just put what you think are priorities first.  Were also not the handiest people. I have many projects waiting for the help of my dad. Like sanding our floors. I've never done anything like it before so it scares the crap out of me to try it. I can only hope that a year from now things will look a lot different and that I can maybe get a few things that I'd like to see done, get done.  And with that here are some progress photos from the last 2 years.  Our closet 2010 2012 2010 2012 Upstairs bathroom 2010 2011 2012 I hope this is finished before next year.
