Hanging with Caribbeans in the Dead of Winter

Good morning sunshine. Someone learned how to crawl last week . Meadow is the queen of stuffed animals. We decided to take out most of these since she wants to sleep or chew everyone. I asked Scott to make breakfast again.  It's what I do. Meadow really only likes to be in the jumper for 5 minutes. I wish she would stay in it longer.  Brooke and the babe were keeping an eagle eye on my cooking. We hadn't had aebelskievers in a long time. Scott complained that they were just complicated pancakes and complained the whole time while he made them. Because they all burnt. I soon realized I forgot the cooking spray. These are pretty delicious. They're kind of like little filled-pancake donuts. During breakfast Cevonne texted asking if we wanted to come over. Meadow waking up at the same time every night has made me a zombie. Lately Meadow has discovered shadows. She is easily entertained when I make shadow puppets. Tod...

Tacos and Hayden on Easter Sunday

Baby Bo-Dot has been moving like crazy and lets us feel its head and feet. This is getting real folks. While Scott was still in bed I made breakfast for myself. Since I assumed he wouldn't have time to eat and he doesn't like oatmeal, I didn't share. Thanks honey. You're so considerate. I starting prepping the bread before we headed to church. This year is his last one since from now on it will just be for the kid(s). I'll miss being a kid. In the process of looking he takes down our Christmas wreath. I was making sure the Easter basket wasn't hidden in the fake foliage. He looked everywhere.  I guess the ...

The After Party-Lazys

Scott and I went out to a Halloween party in our neighborhood the night before. We stayed out late and got up "early" so today resulted in our first lazy day in probably 3 years.  I made a pate fermente the night before and took it out when I got up to "take the chill" off.  This is my, "I have to do dishes face." Leftovers for lunchfast on my end, cause, "I didn't want to make no stinking crepes," or something like that. I spent the day in PJs complaining about my stomach and enjoying a Packers win. Scott watches one Packer game a year and today was that day.  I had oatmeal for breakfast, but was still hungry an hour later so I made myself an egg.  We were randomly starving, so I fried some fresh tortilla chips and made a batch of guacamole. Best husband ever! Guacamole and Fresh Chips 2-3 Avocados 1 Hot Pepper minced A bit of Minced Onion and Tomato 1 Garlic Clove minced A dash of Cumi...
