Theo @ 11 Months

Theo is an eating machine. He still loves everything he's tried and eats a lot.

He just likes eating.

He's started using a walker and crawls and pulls himself up everywhere.

His favorite words are da da and na na.

Ma ma, pa pa. All the usual suspects.

He still has no teeth, but that doesn't stop him from eating anything.

Theo currently loves laughing at Meadow, pulling things out of the drawers, pulling down books, shaking things that make noise, eating, playing with water.

He still gets scared when people he doesn't remember hold him when Scott or I are not around.

He thinks saying no means it's a game.

He shakes his little head back at you and giggles.

Everyone always comments on how happy and smiley he is.

It's a front for his adoring fans.

He just started waving and understands some words.

Theo still wakes up 0-2 times at night, but is getting better at sleeping. Our early bird has turned into a night owl and doesn't like going to sleep right away. He takes 1-2 naps a day.

He escapes on a regular basis only to startle us when he pops up in the room your in.

He still nurses or has a bottle every 2-4 hours.

Honeymoon: You've Got to Go to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore

Day 9
I'm sure bears like popcorn, but we didn't see any. It was raining so we skipped making breakfast and ate our snack food instead.

Duluth for Work and Exploring East Lake After the Chaos

Oh, hey. It's our neighborhood.
The kids wanted to play with the Potato Heads and made our family with them.
There's Theo.
No, wait, there's the real Theo.
I had a job up in Duluth, so I asked Meadow if she wanted to come up with me. She could spend the day with Blake whose done a good job social distancing.
The poor kid has been stuck at home for so long. I stayed back with Theo, I figured these two could have a little trip together.
We arrived the night before and met little Ruth, Blake and Daniel's new dog.

We played in his yard for a bit and then a double rainbow showed up.

It was pretty great in person.
We walked through Blake's new neighborhood, Central Hillside.
Meadow even got to walk Ruth.
She loves walking dogs.

We got some food from the King of Creams and brought it to a nearby park.
Then we played on the play

Friends and Family Come from Far and Farther

My family lives on every possible extreme of the American experience (well no one is in Alaska...at this point). My brother lives in NYC, my sis is in lovely San Jose and my aunts live in Phoenix and Tampa respectively. This means I don't get to see them all that often.
For our wedding I was super excited to bring the whole family together; the aunts and uncle and couldn't make it, but would get to see Colin, Katrina and Dennis and the 'rents.
As an added bonus, my best friend of all time, the Olger Nano, was coming from St. Martin in the Carribean to officiate my wedding. What a guy!
Yes. Olger was probably one of the best wedding presents we got.
I spent most of the Wednesday before the wedding picking up friends and family from the airport. I wish I had brought my camera, but most of our wedding weekend was chronicled by my awesome Tuska and Romenesko siblings.
I met Colin at MSP's Humphrey Terminal and we then headed to MOA to kill some time and find a belt for the w…
