Theo @ 11 Months

Theo is an eating machine. He still loves everything he's tried and eats a lot.

He just likes eating.

He's started using a walker and crawls and pulls himself up everywhere.

His favorite words are da da and na na.

Ma ma, pa pa. All the usual suspects.

He still has no teeth, but that doesn't stop him from eating anything.

Theo currently loves laughing at Meadow, pulling things out of the drawers, pulling down books, shaking things that make noise, eating, playing with water.

He still gets scared when people he doesn't remember hold him when Scott or I are not around.

He thinks saying no means it's a game.

He shakes his little head back at you and giggles.

Everyone always comments on how happy and smiley he is.

It's a front for his adoring fans.

He just started waving and understands some words.

Theo still wakes up 0-2 times at night, but is getting better at sleeping. Our early bird has turned into a night owl and doesn't like going to sleep right away. He takes 1-2 naps a day.

He escapes on a regular basis only to startle us when he pops up in the room your in.

He still nurses or has a bottle every 2-4 hours.

Backcountry Camping with Kids in Theodore Roosevelt National Park

Usually our summer vacations coincide with Scott's work trips. Since he didn't have any this summer I thought we should take advantage of actually taking a vacation. What, my workcations are always classics? I suppose a second real vacation this year wouldn't hurt. We definitely have more time than normal. As long as we took Covid-19  precautions and avoided people. We finally settled on a time to go. Blake joined us so we borrowed our dad's van so we could ride together. Scott had just driven from Michigan the day before. Blake had met my parents in Wisconsin to get the van and then drove from Duluth to pick us up. I offered to drive since I literally only drive twice a month.  I was still pretty tired from a long drive home. Since we were near Fergus Falls we had to stop by the abandoned state ho...

A Tettegouche Camp Cabin and Roller Garden Brooke Birthday

Saturday It's become a yearly tradition to stay at a cabin for my birthday. Since Saturday night was the only night that worked for us this year, our locations to stay at were slim. We had casually checked places all week. We hoped to stay somewhere with snow, but all those places were far away or booked. We decided to wait to see what was available on Saturday.

Honeymoon: Madeline Island Without a Kayak? At Least We Brought Bikes.

We made it safely to Bayfield without getting attacked by any bears . I think that's because of my wily driving skills.
