On The Sixth Day Of Advent Meadow Got A Visit From Sinterklaas

Before we left for Duluth, Meadow got to open her stocking. She was interested in pulling things out at first, but then got distracted.

This year she got Christmas pajamas, a rolling pin, a bamboo spoon, knitted corn on the cob, knitted celery, a vegetable brush, a Hello Minnesota book and Dutch shoes ornament.

We then drove up to Duluth for some Christmas adventures.

We all ate the speculaas we made for St. Nick.

I helped out Blake stringing popcorn. It wasn't easy.

A Tettegouche Camp Cabin and Roller Garden Brooke Birthday

Saturday It's become a yearly tradition to stay at a cabin for my birthday. Since Saturday night was the only night that worked for us this year, our locations to stay at were slim. We had casually checked places all week. We hoped to stay somewhere with snow, but all those places were far away or booked. We decided to wait to see what was available on Saturday.

Exploring (and Camping) Southwest Minnesota Historical Sites

We have most of the southern portion of Minnesota to visit before the end of the year.  That's when our Minnesota Historical Society membership expires...unless G.G. renews it again.
