Meadow @ 6 months

She's finally figured out how to roll over from her front to back.

She's still working on sitting on her own. I will put her in the sitting position and she will try to eat her toes or reach for something and ends up falling over.

She's still trying to learn to crawl. She can get on her hands and toes and put one knee down. I think it will be any day now that she will crawl.

I'm in no rush to feed her solids.

She currently loves to yell in a really high voice, roll around, sleep on her stomach, grab glasses off people's faces, put everything in her mouth, yell at her toys, smile at people, and grab her toes.

She giggles when we make goofy sounds to her.

She's much better in cars. Mostly sleeps. She only complains if her diaper is dirty or is really hungry.

On a good night she gets up one or two times. On a bad night four or five times.

Her bald spot keeps growing. She's starting to lose hair on one side of her head.

Broken Bones and Labor Day

As you can see I am wearing a sling. Why you ask? Well it all started Thursday morning when I being the nice person that I am decided to help out Scottie and his roomates move into their new house. Everyone had gone back to their old house to get more stuff and I stayed behind to finish unpacking things out of my car. I was walking back to my car and thought it would be faster if I went in between a trailer and a van. Being the clumsy person that I am I somehow tripped in the process, ripping my jeans as well. Not thinking I had broken my arm I continued to carry things into to the house. My arm did hurt a little, but I thought it was no big deal. I had to leave for work. When I got home I noticed a huge bump on my elbow, I became worried at this point and called my mom. She said it was probably just bruised. I put ice on it as I was driving, when I got to the mall I saw the bump had gotten bigger. I was really concerned now so I thought I would go to first aid and see if someone the

Sushi Sunday Returns

Today I woke up before Scott and surprised him by making big pancakes. I was so excited, but I had to take a quick shower first. He didn't know I was making breakfast and woke up too late. He had to scarf it down before heading to work. I'm not going to complain that Scott had to work on a Sunday again. Yea it sucks, but I need to be more thankful that he has a job. It may not be the best he's had or the worst and the pay isn't phenomenal, but life isn't always fair. Instead of dwelling on the things I don't like I need to be more happy about the things in life that are great.  After he left I spent time on-and-off working on this puzzle. It's a lot easier to see the many colors when the suns out. I think I found about 3 more pieces.  Then I ordered more seeds online . Last year we figured we had enough, but then we realized we really want to grow kale and chard and popcorn. I know it's a little early to be getting excited abo

Mexico 2020 - Guanajuato

While planning our Mexico trip Scott discovered a city "nearby" that he said looked cool. He originally told me it was like an hour away.  I think I said a few hours away, but maybe. Except when we got our bus tickets it was actually 6 hours.  Sometimes you need to take a journey for a good adventure. Or something. We picked up this model bus for Theo at the bus station. Also he's claimed the Frida backpack.
