Meadow @ 6 months

She's finally figured out how to roll over from her front to back.

She's still working on sitting on her own. I will put her in the sitting position and she will try to eat her toes or reach for something and ends up falling over.

She's still trying to learn to crawl. She can get on her hands and toes and put one knee down. I think it will be any day now that she will crawl.

I'm in no rush to feed her solids.

She currently loves to yell in a really high voice, roll around, sleep on her stomach, grab glasses off people's faces, put everything in her mouth, yell at her toys, smile at people, and grab her toes.

She giggles when we make goofy sounds to her.

She's much better in cars. Mostly sleeps. She only complains if her diaper is dirty or is really hungry.

On a good night she gets up one or two times. On a bad night four or five times.

Her bald spot keeps growing. She's starting to lose hair on one side of her head.

Christmas Eve in Duluth & Christmas at Home

Blake decided he wasn't going to travel to our parents for Christmas this year and asked if we wanted to spend Christmas with him. Scott wanted to be home for Christmas day so we went up a couple days before Christmas Eve to spend a few days in Duluth. We had big plans for Christmas morning, but I also didn't want to miss a stay in Duluth. Somehow we always end up in Duluth around Christmas time. It would have been weird to skip it this year. We haven't visited Duluth much this year with COVID. It was nice to be up here. Both of our households have been very careful and this was a much better option than going to Little Chute. We haven't been around other people without masks since October. It felt a little strange at first. No monster pancakes this time. Blake's bed and breakfast had waffles made with a vintage Nordic Ware waffle iron. Yum!

It's Almost Christmas, But Where's the Snow

We've started enjoying our nightly walks to look at Christmas lights in the neighborhood. This one was pretty creative.  I guess the owner delivers Christmas trees or something.

St. Nick and A Long Solo Work Trip

Meadow had been counting down for St Nick for weeks.  Sparkly play dough. I too love pre-gaming it mini-Christmas.
