Meadow @ 6 months

She's finally figured out how to roll over from her front to back.

She's still working on sitting on her own. I will put her in the sitting position and she will try to eat her toes or reach for something and ends up falling over.

She's still trying to learn to crawl. She can get on her hands and toes and put one knee down. I think it will be any day now that she will crawl.

I'm in no rush to feed her solids.

She currently loves to yell in a really high voice, roll around, sleep on her stomach, grab glasses off people's faces, put everything in her mouth, yell at her toys, smile at people, and grab her toes.

She giggles when we make goofy sounds to her.

She's much better in cars. Mostly sleeps. She only complains if her diaper is dirty or is really hungry.

On a good night she gets up one or two times. On a bad night four or five times.

Her bald spot keeps growing. She's starting to lose hair on one side of her head.

May Didn't Quite Get Canceled: Part I

Theo and I go for a walks or wagon rides while Meadow finishes up her school work. This is also the last photo we have of "baby," his blue teddy bear. Missing you "baby" aka Blue Boo.
Baby went missing and we can't figure out where he is.
Meadow has been on a sewing streak again. This time she made a skirt with some leftover fabric from a dress I made her.
She wanted to add the zig zag design to it too.

Another one of those papa and Theo walks around the block. He's not fast, but he loves his balance bike.
Theo has suddenly wanted to join in our wiffle ball games.
Meadow and her outfits.

I'm more confused by the two weirdos playing horsey down our long driveway.
Our local liquor store does curb side pickup and puts your order in your trunk for you. Or in our case our bike trailer.

Of course I wear mask when I'm picking the beer up.

This about it this week. Kind of uneventful.

May Didn't Quite Get Canceled: Part II

Mother's day means handmade cards from Meadow.
Also breakfast made by Meadow.
Then Meadow made another breakfast banana split for her and Theo.

Sand Dunes State Forest

Out of the blue we decided we needed to go camping.Being only a few days after the fourth we decided to head to a state forest. Most state parks are booked this time of year, so the forests are good alternative.
On the way I got really hungry. We found a Culver's and ordered a small feast. Of course I got a blueberry malt and a bacon butterburger. The best of all malt flavors. Brooke and I shared cheese curds since she already ate leftovers.
