Did I mention we basically have a kitchen in our bedroom? Our toaster oven can fit a pizza or bake brownies if you like.

Today I had my exit practical. I had to make 4 dishes for 2 chefs. I got a perfect score on my dessert, the best in the class.

Thanks to daylight savings I got up extra early today. For breakfast I had eggs. You thought it was going to be oatmeal didn't you?   Scott was working his early shift at work so I worked on chores. I hate when he works when I have off, but in a way I get more done with him gone. Like dishes.  Our last two pumpkins from our garden.    Before they could start going bad I roasted them in the oven.   I then soaked the seeds in salty water for roasting later.    This week I decided to clean out our buffet drawers. Each drawer was turning into a junk drawer and needed to be cleaned.    I first took everything out to go through what I needed and what could be thrown away/recycled.  I pureed the pumpkin to be used for future use. RV Spring Break: Savannah to Miami

Oh, hey, we made it to Savannah. Time for a nice stroll (well, as leisurely as Brooke will allow).   I was pretty excited to be going to Savannah, even if we could only stay for a few hours. The tricky thing with having an RV is finding a place to park. The Fahm Avenue parking lot had RV spots and then we walked over to the historic district. Meadow should go to the Savannah College of Art and Design. You know, if she can get a scholarship. Savannah is just as cool in person as you think. I should have done at least one house tour. I had to embarrass Meadow with taking her photo in front of the first Girl Scout Headquarters.  Brooke got me to go into the beautiful Catholic church right in the historic district. I don't think I've ever been in a Cathedral Basilica. Usually it's one or the other. It seems like every few blocks there was a perfect square. We should build all cities like this. Watching Paint Dry

Scott worked his morning shift. Again (grr). I have breakfast alone. Again. If this keeps up I may need to start a side blog about cleaning, because today I did just that.  I started with cleaning out our built-in bench storage. When Scott brought back a bunch of things from his parents/grandparents this summer he took with him these giant *** speakers. Not only are they huge they take over the bench not allowing easy access to the storage units. They're awesome, but I might get rid of them soon. Pretty clever craftsmanship they had back then.  It turns out nothing was in this one. Hmm now that I'm thinking about it this would be a good place to keep all my yarn. The other one had some cords and Peanut.    I also found more blankets and flue cleaner.  We wanted to use this to clean the chimney, but it's probably best that we hire a professional.
