Cevonne's A U Alumni Now

We've had a crazy ant invansion in our home. They keep popping up all over the place especially on our kitchen counters.  I'm starting to wonder if they're hiding behind the backsplash. I whipped up some homemade ant killer: sugar, water, borax and peanut butter.  I also made bananas foster oatmeal. Scott really liked it the last time I made it. When I told him I made breakfast he said,"Ew! Oatmeal." Last time I make him breakfast.  I'd have reacted differently if I had known it was banana fosters oatmeal. I'm starting to have to get up at night to go to the bathroom. I do not like that. And my belly button is popping. So cute. The ants mostly hang out by our dirty dishes. It was Scott's turn and normally he'd just leave it for a few days but the ants grossed him out.  I started eating the oatmeal and noticed a knife with peanut butter and  a million ants on it. I just had to do all the dishes. My yearly ph...

Tacos and Hayden on Easter Sunday

Baby Bo-Dot has been moving like crazy and lets us feel its head and feet. This is getting real folks. While Scott was still in bed I made breakfast for myself. Since I assumed he wouldn't have time to eat and he doesn't like oatmeal, I didn't share. Thanks honey. You're so considerate. I starting prepping the bread before we headed to church. We were having fried chicken sandwiches in a few days, so half of the dough was made into rolls. Then Scott got to look for his Easter basket. This year is his last one since from now on it will just be for the kid(s). I'll miss being a kid. In the process of looking he takes down our Christmas wreath. I was making sure the Easter basket wasn't hidden in the fake foliage. He looked everywhere.  I guess the ...

Bread, Skype and Weeds

For Valentines I made Scott a bunch of coupons. One of them was breakfast in bed. When we woke up he said, "Breakfast in bed coupon day?" We didn't have any milk, so I said I could only make oatmeal. He changed his mind then asked for his Grandpa's oatmeal. After I made it and brought it upstairs he was back to sleep. An hour later he realized it was there then said, "This doesn't count towards my coupon right?" What a punk. Oatmeal is a zero on the breakfast scale. It's something you eat on a Tuesday morning. I thought coupons had some value to it. Still love you babe.   After only a week, a few of my plants have already sprouted. I hope they don't get too big before I can transplant them to the garden. Too big will probably mean that they'll survive. So, I'm not to worried.  This weeks bread is Potato Rosemary. I made a biga the night before and brought it out to warm up.  As this had potato in it I had to ...
