Sometimes Meadow is cranky when I make breakfast. I don't blame her. I would be sad if the counters were 2 feet above my head and I couldn't see what was going on. I brought over a step stool for her to stand on so she could watch.

With all our jars in the kitchen it sometimes gets confusing what is what. Especially the grains and things like powdered sugar and cake flour. I've seen chalkboard being painted on jars around the internet so I thought I'd give it a try. 

Blake and his Occupier-mate Justin came to visit to go to Mayday. Unfortunately the rain we had this weekend caused flooding which postponed the festival to next week.
